Feed

Most of you know I work part time at a feed mill and store. I love the hours I spend here. I get to meet amazing people that have similiar interests as me and all the while I learn all kinds of tidbits of information that help me make the best decisions about horse nutrition and what I decide to feed. I used to be an oats kinda girl but now I have gone to a pellets with oats and molasses (I will post more about this later). But today I wanted to share a picture of the truckload of oats we got in. They are beautiful...makes me consider going back to all oats and if I didn't have an ulcer guy I probably would but ulcers and oats do NOT mix and what I am using now is working great.

Have a great day!

Socks Galore!

This year for Christmas two of my riding lesson students bought me a few pair of socks. One day at I left straight from work and went to lessons and forgot to put a pair of socks in my truck so as kind of a joke, they bought me two AMAZING pairs of socks. Yes, I live in South Carolina but if the temperature drops below 65 I am freezing. So they knew they had to get warm socks and socks that were fit to wear with my boots. They did great picking out socks. I have never had socks I loved this much.  They have foot and ankle support, are super warm, and just tall enough to fit right with my boots, but not too tall they they go all the way to my knee (When you are only 5'1" sometimes socks are way longer than they need to be!) They are womens size 4-9 Merino Wool Socks. If you ever need super warm, super comfy socks these are the go to socks! Here are a few pictures just so you make sure you a getting the right thing. These definatley get 5 stars in my book.

Sorry the pictures are such poor quaility-my phone's camera is not the best. Hopefully I will upgrade soon. Happy Tuesday!

Happy New Year!

Well I have already been a bit slack on my New Year Resolutions. I made several-I wanted to start posting more, stay more up to date and not get so far behind, lose weight, be a better wife and mother, be a better business person, get and keep my horses in amazing shape, go to more shows, and so so many others. I am making some progress-I have started working out some and I have tried to make it where I can spend more time with Jacob. Chet and I bought a place that we are going to start working on so we can eventually rent it or sell it and when we get more land and get our dream house and barn built.  YAY! I am currently trying to get caught up so that I can devote at least 30 minutes each night to paper work so I can be a better business person. What are you doing to change your life in 2012?
